Minor Adjustments: Faith-Based Recovery & Community-Led Discipleship Living

House of Adjustments is a faith-based, peer-run, substance-free recovery home built on spiritual principles and a democratic, shared-responsibility model similar to Oxford House. Residents actively participate in household decisions, maintain community standards, and share in the daily upkeep and operation of the home.

• Faith & Peer-Led Community: Grounded in spiritual values and mutual accountability, residents support one another in long-term transformation and purposeful living.

   

• Non-Clinical Environment: We operate as a shared household, not a clinical treatment facility. We do not offer on-site clinical substance use treatment services.

   

• Fair Housing Protected: We provide equal housing opportunities in full alignment with Fair Housing Act guidelines and recovery protections.

   

• Shared Expense Contribution: Residents contribute an Equal Expense Share of $125.00 weekly toward shared utilities, maintenance, and common household supplies.

• Multi-Pathway Approach: We honor multiple pathways of recovery, explicitly highlighting the faith-based pathway and operating under the protections of the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure a supportive residential environment.

The household enjoys voluntary external mentorship, recovery coaching, and spiritual oversight provided by founders Michael L. Williams Jr., NCPRSS, and Lernell Williams, LPN. The internal residential household operates entirely through absolute peer self-governance, democratic decision-making, and an elected Resident Council."
